Idaho Power posted about National Dairy Month, saying the utility is “proud to power one of Idaho’s top industries” and to provide reliable electricity to farms, families and communities involved in dairy.

The company also said it offers programs aimed at helping dairies operate more efficiently. It cited energy-saving solutions for processing and refrigeration, and incentives it said are designed to make irrigation more efficient, to help customers save energy and money.

Idaho Power said that if people are in the Treasure Valley this weekend, they can stop by Meridian Dairy Days to meet its Energy Advisors.
