**Tornado Warning Extended in St. Lucie County**

St. Lucie County is currently under a tornado warning, which has been extended until 5:30 p.m. today, as confirmed by the National Weather Service. The initial warning was set to expire at 4:30 p.m. A flash flood warning is also in effect until 6:15 p.m.

Residents are advised to take precautions, as a tornado warning indicates that a tornado is imminent. It is recommended to seek shelter immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of your home.

The City of Port St. Lucie urges residents to stay off the roads for safety. To receive future alerts and warnings, residents can sign up for Alert St. Lucie at www.stlucieco.gov/alert.
