The southbound lanes of Port St. Lucie Boulevard have reopened following an earlier closure due to a blown power transformer. The St. Lucie County Fire District had closed the lanes before Castaneda Lane and south of Gatlin Boulevard, diverting southbound traffic through Castaneda Lane.

Motorists traveling southbound were advised to use alternate routes, including Tulip and Savona boulevards, during the closure. The situation has now been resolved, and normal traffic flow has resumed.
