Larkspur Community Center in Bend, Oregon posted that June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, a time it said highlights brain health and support for people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

The center said regular exercise increases blood flow to the brain and may help lower the risk of cognitive decline. It also said its fitness programs are designed to make staying active “easy and enjoyable” while supporting memory, mood, and overall well-being.
